John “JoRoSaR” Sargent is an event host, commentator and interviewer, making his name through his energetic play-by-play commentating in StarCraft II. He quickly got picked up by many of the world’s premier gaming events including MLG, Blizzard’s World Championship Series, IGN ProLeague, DreamHack and Intel Extreme Masters. In addition to his esports event experience, part of his formal training includes masterclasses with television coach Barry Nash and Emmy & Peabody award winning Tony Martinez.
As a former Formula 1 engineer for a championship winning team, John has a particular passion for sim racing games. He helped bring the Formula E Race at Home Challenge to life in 2020 for the BBC, Eurosport & television channels worldwide, and is the host of Logitech’s G Challenge globally.
On the Battle Royale and FPS front, John commentates & hosts premier PUBG events regularly, including the PUBG Continental Series (PCS). He is also the face and host of Garena Free Fire in Europe, one of the world’s largest Battle Royale mobile games. John previously commentated and helped host the world’s first Overwatch LAN event, TaKeOver, and was a lead commentator in the FACEIT / ELEAGUE Overwatch Open.
